I studied for the foundation exam back in the Summer of 2007, the location Poldhu Amateur Radio Club in West Cornwall. Club-call: GB2GM (link).

I passed the exam on the very first attempt, whilst the other seven candidates were talking about what antennas and radios etc they were going to buy it was just me and someone else that passed on that day.
